| Ancast, Inc. was incorporated 06/1983 and has operated ever since as a sand-cast job foundry specializing in over 130 different specialty steels (stainless, low carbon, nickel-based, etc.) and servicing predominantly the pump & valve and industrial equipment markets (no automotive exposure). Ancast operates with 48 employees from its 46,550 sq ft. facility in Sodus, Michigan and sells to North American customers. | |||||||
| Ancast's operating focus is that of short run productions (1 to 500 castings), oriented in a production line process, and ranging across a wide range of alloys, part sizes, and/or technical requirements. Ancast niche markets involves castings that do not possess the volume to cost effectively produce either overseas (or in a large production facility), possess uncommon material requirements, and/or require rapid production turn-around times (more time sensitive than cost sensitive). |  |
